Bulldogs down East Greenwich, 4-1!

Behind the fine pitching of Kyle Palardy, the Cranston Bulldogs won their second game of the year over East Greenwich, 4-1.

In five innings of work, Palardy struck out seven batters and did not allow a runner to cross home plate.

Colin Blessing led the Bulldogs attack with a single, double and drove in an important run in the bottom of the sixth inning to take a 4-0 lead.

East Greenwich, which outhit the defending champs, received hits from Owne Drolet, Jack Matus, Ryan Macauley (rbi single), Evan Greenberg, Matt Friedman and David Haberman.

On the mound, William Kilka struck out eight batters and allowed two runs on four hits in five innings of work.
